External Hexagon | HEX Biodent HEX
The Biodent implant manufactured by Dérig Implantes do Brasil has an external hexagonal interface. With high bone expansion power, the implant has retention grooves on the threads, optimizing the contact area between implant and bone, which increases primary stability, in addition to enable placement with less trauma. Biodent is available at Ø 3.3 mm – Ø 3.75mm and Ø 5.0 mm diameters. All Dérig implants have the Biotite surface treated by means of double acid attack. A cover screw accompanies this implant.

- Higher mechanical resistance to insertion
- Improves safety in implant transportation
- Preserves morse taper prosthetic indexer integrity
Placement of the implant may be started with the capture wrench at contra-angle. Later, insertion should be completed with the manual torque wrench.
